Moissanite is a gemstone made of silicon carbide. At 9.25 on the Mohs scale it's harder than every gemstone except diamond, and it throws more fire (rainbow sparkle) than a diamond does.
Yes. A lab-grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically the same as a mined diamond. The only difference is where it was made — and the price tag.
Moissanite passes standard thermal diamond testers. Specialist multi-testers can tell moissanite from diamond, and we're upfront about which stone you're buying.
